A type of sparkling wine | Rose VS |
Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé combines three different grape varieties into one exciting and interesting sparkling wine. The wine therefore contains different personalities originating from different Italian leading wine-growing regions, such as the Adige River Valley and Eastern Veneto. The cuvée is blended from white wine bases with rosé hues obtained from a short maceration of red grapes with skins. The second fermentation takes about one month in barrels under pressure at a controlled temperature of 15°C. When the wine reaches the desired pressure of around 5.5 bar, it is cooled to prevent further fermentation and to allow it to settle and mature on the lees in pressurized barrels for a further two to three months.
The pink color presents a subtle sequence of floral aromas, which are further elevated by white fruit and delicate hints of red berry fruit. These vibrant aromas pair well with a lively and lingering freshness, for a great all-round tasting experience.
Delicious as an aperitif and excellent as an accompaniment to fish starters and delicious main courses. It also goes well with all kinds of dishes with light textures and richly aromatic culinary creations. Also try it with spicy, spicy dishes from the Far East.
